Kanban Girl Paper Piecing

I had to make a girlie card and chose this Kanban stamp from a set which I think is called 'let's do lunch'. I paper pieced the dress to go with the background papers. I've then added some promarker colours to the image to tie in too. I was quite pleased with the result.

Wedding Card

This is the first of 3 wedding cards I need to make for myself to give this year. I stamped the 1 Corinthians verses and embossed in gold. I teamed this with some Spellbinders dies including some flowers. I also added the new leaves designed by Sue Wilson. I love her new dies but only have this leaf one at the moment but I think they are all on the wish list. Look out for my other wedding cards....coming soon to this blog!

Funny shopping card

This is a commission card for someone who wanted a funny one. I found this image on craftsuprint.com which is always a useful resource. I didn't use the words and came up with my own and added some matching backing paper. I cut out the image with the Scan'n'cut which made the job a lot easier and made it look much more professional. Have I mentioned how much I love this machine...?

Special Easter Card - bit late!

I know Easter has been and gone but i don't think I posted this card. Although I've done it as an Easter card, it could easily be changed to a sympathy card or even a wedding or christening card. I think it looks very stylish in white and gold.

Elegant Shoes

I cut these shoes and words with my Brother Scan'n'Cut and matched up with some elegant papers that were a magazine freebie. This was a commission card and think it was well received.

Bible verse pink card

This is a card I made for a friend as a thankyou. It uses the lovely spellbinder dies and the words are a free digi stamp that I printed over a patterened paper. Just goes to show how easy spellbinders can make it to make a elegant card. The flowers are also the delicate asters dies (I think).

Altered Art project - photo frames

I made these as gifts for some friends. The frames were £1 for 3 and they have magnets on the back so they can go on the fridge. There were fluorescent colours and plastic! I did a bit of homemade decoupage by stamping and inking tissue paper and then ripping into pieces and sticking on the frames using Modge Podge. I also rubbed some mica powder over in order to give them a bit of a shimmer. I then stamped some bible verses on some card coloured with the same inks to go inside. I did say that they could change it for a photo if they wanted but I think they liked them. All in all, a very cheap gift and I had a lot of fun making them!
